Boston blast - reply to zero tolerance call

Boston’s newly Independent Councillor, Carol Taylor, has sent a round robin reply to Councillor David Owens’s earlier e-mail to all council members in which she says:

Dear David


Thank you for your e mail which has been received by so many with a heavy heart. The loss of so many lives due to alleged illegal practices is something that needs to be stopped without question.
As for your apology if your comments were to cause offence, it is not necessary. What you have said and as a consequence of the awful tragic events of yesterday will serve only to unite us all to strive to eliminate any further destruction of human life, regardless of political persuasion.
I am sure my fellow councillors will agree to make a few minutes in our day today to think of those bereaved families who have lost loved ones in such a needless and senseless way.
